  6. If you try playing a demo, and you receive the error message, "Cannot find DINPUT.DLL," 
  7. it means you need to install the latest version of DirectX. Currently, it's version 5.2.
  8. You can do this by choosing to install DirectX 5.0 through our front end, or install it 
  9. manually by running the DXSETUP.EXE file in the \DIRECTX directory on The CD. Also, pay 
  10. attention to the requirement boxes for each demo in the Disc Pages. It will list whether 
  11. or not the demo requires DirectX. Remember, folks, READ THE DISC PAGES! That's what 
  12. they're there for!

  14. MESSED UP PALETTE OR STRANGE COLORS
  15.  
  16. The front end is created to run under 256 colors, but not all palettes are created 
  17. equal. If you see distorted colors or otherwise ugly graphics, change your color
  18. depth to 16-bit color. You can do this under the Control Panel, Display. Choose the 
  19. Settings tab, and under Color Palette, select High Color (16-bit).
